The Good Karma Supply Company was created from a simple observation: anger and hostility ripple outward and make communities more dangerous. And kindness ripples too — but when it becomes visible, it spreads and creates safer and cleaner communities.
It started in the alleys of Penticton — watching quiet acts of generosity happen informally, unnoticed, unnamed. The "free" signs. The bags of empties left for whoever needed them. The curbside treasures. People caring, in silence.
And watching what happened when those same spaces were treated with suspicion instead of trust. When hostility replaced generosity. When the ripple went the wrong way.
That observation became a question: what if we made the kindness visible? What if we gave it a name, a platform, a vehicle — and invited everyone to participate?
The answer was the Good Karma Bag. And the bag became Good Karma Supply Company.
